Former majority owner Justin Coble said he has sold his stake in the professional indoor football team to partner and New Orleans Saints' wide receiver Marques Colston.

Colston, a Susquehanna Township High School graduate, is the Saints' all-time franchise leader for touchdowns. Last March, he signed a five-year contract extension worth around $40 million.

"I had some health issues, and we had two different visions for a business plan," Coble said. "(Marques) is a good guy. I know he is putting money into the team."

Colston was not immediately available for comment.

Coble, who now works in a sales and business development role with the Harrisburg Heat soccer team, took over a team last season with the hope of rebuilding attendance and forging sponsorship relationships with area businesses.

Those efforts paid off, Coble said, despite losing some money. The team averaged about 1,600 spectators per home game, he said.

"We didn't get everything accomplished that I wanted," he said.

The Stampede play in the American Indoor Football league. The league's regular season runs from March through May.
