He will serve as director of the university's new Family Business and Entrepreneurship Initiative.
McGrann said he has already begun working for the university but will also continue to work for Elizabethtown as it conducts a nationwide search for his replacement.
According to a news release from Saint Joseph's, McGrann's new job has a similar mission as his current one: creating a membership-based community of entrepreneurial family businesses who are committed to family unity and long-term competitiveness.
McGrann has been at Elizabethtown's center since 2009.
