Cumberland County-based Harsco Corp. has landed $25 million worth of rail maintenance equipment, services and parts orders for companies in three countries.

Harsco will deliver the equipment this year and in 2013 to customers in Australia, Canada and the U.S.; however the company could not disclose the number of contracts or which customers, spokesman Ken Julian said.

Harsco Rail, the division that received the contracts, sells equipment that repairs and maintains railways for efficient train travel.

Harsco, based in Wormleysburg, provides products and services to companies in the construction, energy, metals production and railroad industries. The company trades its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol HSC.
